ON PICTURE DAY

It's important for the majority of the team members to arrive on time. Otherwise, it could result in other teams having to wait past their scheduled start times.

We start photographing the individual athletes as soon as they arrive. Please make sure that your athlete is prepared by double checking their uniform and making sure that your athlete brings any required sports equipment with them to be photographed with.

Please take a moment to double check your athlete and their uniform before they are photographed. For your safety and ours a NO-TOUCH POLICY will be in place during your team’s picture day, which means that the photographer will not be able to physically adjust your athlete’s hair or clothing. The photographer will verbally direct your athlete to make adjustments when or if they are necessary. Because we have a limited amount of time to take each athlete’s photograph it is important for each athlete to maintain a cooperative spirit and pay attention to the photographer’s directions.

Below we've included some items to double check on your athlete before being photographed and some items that the photographer will NOT be able to help your athlete with. . .

• Jerseys Are Neat and Tucked

• Strings Are Tucked Into Pants

• Placement of Sports Cap/Hat

• Face Is Clean

• Hair Styling/Placement

• Hair Tie Removed from Wrist

Your athlete's safety is always our number one concern, so this school year or season we will be compositing all of the team group photos. What does this mean? We are not taking the traditional team group photo, but instead, we are photographing each individual athlete on their own and creating the team group photos from the photos we take of every individual athlete. So, please make sure that your athlete knows that they will need their individual picture taken on picture day whether you are ordering pictures or not if they want to be included in their team’s group photo. Thank you!

If your athlete is playing on multiple teams for the same sport, such as if your athlete is playing on both the Freshman Basketball Team and Junior Varsity Basketball Team, please make sure that your athlete is aware that he/she needs to have their photo taken in ALL of the jerseys/uniforms they are playing in that school year or season for each sport.

We love taking sibling photos - just make a clear note of it on your order form and we'll be happy to photograph your children together on picture day.

Because we have a limited amount of time to photograph each athlete and team, we ask that the athletes maintain a cooperative spirit during their individual and team photo sessions. Disregarding and/or not cooperating with our instructions will result in the entire team taking a longer than normal amount of time to photograph, which could result in other teams having to wait past their scheduled start times.

Because we have a limited amount of time to photograph each athlete and team, we ask that you double check with your athlete to make sure that they know if you would like them to smile during their individual sports photo session with our studio. Our studio CANNOT force an athlete of any age to smile during their individual photo session, so please double check with your athlete before photo day.

K-6th GRADE AGE GROUP: When faced with a young athlete (K-6th Grade) that will not smile during their first photo, we will ask the athlete if they would also like to take a second photo with a smile. If your young athlete chooses to take this second smiling photo, our studio will include both expressions in your online viewing gallery.

JUNIOR HIGH AGE GROUP: While posing your athlete during their individual photo session, our studio photographer will ask them to make sure to smile if that is what their parent/guardian has asked them to do. Our studio feels that your athlete is now old enough to know what their parent/guardian wants. We are, however, happy to take a smiling and non-smiling photograph of your athlete if requested from your athlete during their photo session.

HIGH SCHOOL AGE GROUP: When faced with an athlete in this age group that will not smile during their first photo, our studio has adopted the policy NOT TO ASK for a second smiling photograph. Our studio feels that your athlete is now old enough to make this determination on their own and will come aware of what their parent/guardian wants. We are, however, happy to take a smiling and non-smiling photograph of your athlete if requested from your athlete during their photo session.
